Description

The year is 2009. Nineteen-year-old Jackson Meyer is a normal guy… he's in college, has a girlfriend… and he can travel back through time. But it's not like the movies – nothing changes in the present after his jumps, there's no space-time continuum issues or broken flux capacitors – it's just harmless fun.

That is… until the day strangers burst in on Jackson and his girlfriend, Holly, and during a struggle with Jackson, Holly is fatally shot. In his panic, Jackson jumps back two years to 2007, but this is not like his previous time jumps. Now he's stuck in 2007 and can't get back to the future.

Desperate to somehow return to 2009 to save Holly but unable to return to his rightful year, Jackson settles into 2007 and learns what he can about his abilities.

But it's not long before the people who shot Holly in 2009 come looking for Jackson in the past, and these "Enemies of Time" will stop at nothing to recruit this powerful young time-traveler. Recruit… or kill him.

Piecing together the clues about his father, the Enemies of Time, and himself, Jackson must decide how far he's willing to go to save Holly… and possibly the entire world.

Can't believe iTune is selling it with just 2.99 that's such an amazing deal. Yes, although I admit, the ending took me by surprise but it's definitely a book you'd want to read.

I'm not sure how to put it better than anyone else. It was everything you want it to be and more. Imaginative and playful, creative and thrilling, even sad at times. My girlfriend picked this book out for me knowing that I'm a sucker for anything time travel related. But I'll admit I was a little worried it might be too girly (both by the description and cover) but do not be fooled! This was an awesomely fun and exciting read, written by a female author capturing the male mindset flawlessly. So stop reading this and go read Tempest.

I LITERALLY could NOT put this book (iTouch) down! I always imagined having the abilities this guy has and the author has crafted the BEST way of using them. When you think something exciting will happen, something much bigger will happen. From humor to a thriller, this book is defiantly a must get!

This was the first book I ever red. I was never into reading books. Just thinking of books would put to sleep . But then my beautiful wifey actually bought me this book n just reading the first page I was hooked!!!! It was well written n every page kept making me wanting to read more n more!!! What I really like about this book is that it's written in plain simple English!!!! None of those fancy talkers or big words just to try to sound smart. That crap puts me to sleep -_-. But this was written in plain simple English and the characters speaks how we really speaks like our slang our how we would react. Buy this book I seriously recommend it to everyone!!!!!!

I really enjoyed this novels style. Switching between time frames each chapter introduces a very immersive element while conveying the story in an applicable method with regards to the plot.
