Description

She doesn’t know who she is… or why someone’s trying to kill her.

When hardened mercenary Jared Fraser finds a woman bleeding in the snow outside his remote cabin, he takes her in and patches her up, intending to get her back to her life and out of his as quickly as possible.

But Liberty King is a special case. She shows signs of recent abuse, and she can’t remember who she is - the only hint is a necklace with a name engraved on it.

When three men track her down with hunting dogs, Jared will do whatever it takes to protect her. Then he’ll move mountains to find out what’s locked away inside her head. What he won’t do is fall for her, no matter how much her innocent eyes and sweet smile make him want more.

But when a new danger strikes, Jared realizes that some choices were never his to make…

She needs a knight in shining armor. He is one.

Loved this book. Intrigue and danger everywhere. Libby and Jared were quite a team! Loved the ending and the extended ending! HEA at it’s best.

Smut. An old fashioned word from my parents generation that really applies. I’m okay with the steamy love scenes in books and can choose to skim what doesn’t appeal to me. When a book has low level/trashy descriptions in most paragraphs then it seems more like porn.

This was another great story about Jared and Liberty ( Libby ) Libby had been abducted and ended up at the cabin Jared was renting . This had Libby not remembering what had happened to her . It shows what a good person Jared was and how these two after some problems getting Libby’s memory back were heading to a very HEA.

It's been awhile since I have had a 5 star book, but this one delivers. There's amnesia, mayhem, kidnapping, and, of course, hunky men. What's a girl supposed to do when she can't even remember her name? Go home with a strange guy, of course. And that is how Jared and Libby meet. Fast forward to the ending and we have them fighting the bad guys, with the help of the other Bandits, and winning (obviously). And let's throw in there a snippet of Calypso. How could you go wrong? I found myself continuing to read because I wanted to know what happened next. It's been awhile since a book has had me this involved in the story that I could not put it down. Well done, Ms Harris. I have since listened to the audiobook and found I enjoyed Teddy Hamilton as Jared. He's hot, but gentle and you get that with Mr Hamilton's voice. I've always loved listening to Erin Mallon and this is no exception. She has the best male voices of any female narrator and I love how well she portrayed Libby's confusion and constant pulling on her memory.

Well, Lynn Raye Harris has done it again. Another book that I didn’t want to put down. I absolutely loved Jared and Libby. There was just something about them that I adored. Libby tends to chatter (even when she doesn’t remember anything about herself), and Jared is more on the quiet side. It's not off-putting, it makes her feel more real, and Jared comes to love it about her. There are some little moments that had me laughing out loud because of the references. Absolutely awesome. Those epilogues are just 😍😍
