Description

The irresistible, blazing-hot sequel to New York Times bestselling author Molly McAdams's Forgiving Lies

Rachel is supposed to be planning her wedding to Kash, the love of her life. After the crazy year they've had, she's ready to settle down and live a completely normal life. Well, as normal as it can be. But there's something else waiting—something threatening to tear them apart.

Kash is ready for it all with Rachel, especially if "all" includes having a football team of babies with his future wife. In his line of work, Kash knows how short life can be and doesn't want to waste another minute of their life together. But now his past as an undercover narcotics agent has come back to haunt him . . . and it's the girl he loves who's caught in the middle.

Trent Cruz's orders are clear: take the girl. But there's something about this girl that has him changing the rules and playing a dangerous game to keep her safe. When his time as Rachel's protector runs out, Trent will turn his back on the only life he's known—and risk everything if it means getting her out alive.

After reading "Forgiven Lies" (which I loved too) I so glad I didn't have to wait to see what happens next. This book was well written with great characters. I would love to read more from these characters. Let say more about Mason.

I've love the author all all her previous works, however this was my least favorite one. I didn't like the turn the story took (which is quite obvious as soon as Rachel is abducted). I found it really unrealistic and the last 6 or so chapters were all just "fluff".

Wow!!! Molly has done it again! I absolutely love this book. Never have my eyes teared up as much as when I read a Molly McAdams book. This was great. I love the relationship Kash and Rachel share. The way they communicate and understand each other is amazing. I appreciate the antagonist (Trent) thrown in to test their love. I feel this reminds the reader that fiction has real life aspects as well. All in all, this was an enjoyable read. Now I must replenish my box of tissues as I wait for her next novel.

This book was amazing Molly McAdams has real talent for writing the best stories and Deceiving Lies was not the exception. Molly wrote wonderful characters in a way that you could feel what they were going through in the story. You won't regret reading about this love story that goes through some tough times and still find their way back to each other.

Deceiving Lies is a heart achingly beautiful love story. It literally made me ache for Rachel and Kash. When I read Forgiving Lies I immediately fell in love with Kash & Rachel’s story. When Molly ended it the way she did, I couldn’t believe it. And so began the waiting for Deceiving Lies to be released and missing Kash. It was so worth the wait. If you’ve read Forgiving Lies, then you know that Kash and Rachel have been through a lot since they met and fell in love. When Rachel is kidnapped and held captive their love is tested and they must confront the changes in both of them and their feelings because of it. Molly’s books just keep getting better and better. I laughed, I cried, I craved pancakes and that was just in the first 50 pages or so. My emotions were all over the place—happy, sad, disbelieving, and oh-my-goodness-that-isn’t-happening. When an author can make me feel that range of emotions while reading, it’s definitely a keeper book. Go, buy it, read it, fall in love with Kash & Rachel’s story.
